Safety regulations 
1. The drilling site should be kept clean.
2. When installing and disassembling the drilling rig, it is necessary to ensure correctness and completeness.
3. When lifting the mast of the drilling rig, the operator should stand in a safe position.
4. When starting the electric motor, all friction clutches of the drilling rig should be opened.
5. It is strictly prohibited to remove the protective cover when the drilling rig is working.
6. Before starting work, the reliability of the braking device and the performance of the friction clutch and starting device should be checked.
7. Before the motor stops, it is prohibited to inspect the drilling rig.
8. It is strictly prohibited to tighten any parts of the drilling rig during operation.
9. When the drilling rig is in operation, refueling is strictly prohibited. The refueling of the upper pulley of the mast should be carried out when the drilling rig is stopped.
10. Before the motor stops, it is not allowed to work on the mast.
11. In any case, when someone is working on the upper section of the mast, no other personnel are allowed to stay under the mast.
12. In case of severe weather (rainstorm, heavy snow, ice or wind above level 5), [3] it is not allowed to work on the mast. At the same time, it is not allowed to use artificial lighting to work on the mast.
13. It is strictly prohibited to use wire ropes with cracked strands.
14. When lifting and lowering drilling tools, it is strictly prohibited to touch the steel wire rope with your hands.
15. Except for lifting the drilling rig and lowering the drilling pipe, it is strictly prohibited to open the wellhead.
16. To prevent the shaking of drilling tools or extraction tubes when taken out of the well, hooks made of steel rods with a diameter of 15-20mm must be used to hook them.
17. When cleaning the suction cup, a sturdy and reliable steel wire rope should be used to form a loop, which should be wrapped at the bottom of the suction cup and flipped over.
18. When using a pulley to lift or lower the casing, and when the machine is working on salvage, all workers should leave the drilling.
19. When using a crane to pull out the casing, it is necessary to fix it together to prevent it from falling off.

20. When the lighting is stopped (at night), drilling work should be stopped. When the drilling tool is still in the well, it should be carefully removed from the well.


Daily maintenance
1、 Regular inspection items for drilling rigs [4]
1. Inspect the main structural condition of the drilling rig, structural connection bolts, structural connection pins, welding seams of each structural component, hanging basket structure, and safety protection status. Especially before entering the site for use, qualified units should be invited to test its safety performance, and only after passing the inspection can it be used;
2. Regularly inspect the condition of various power heads, working cylinders, drill bits and drill rods;
3. Regularly inspect the anti wire rope detachment device on the drum of the hoist, as well as the height of the edges on both sides, the condition of the drum wall, and the number of turns of the wire rope tail on the drum. Especially, the condition of the brake port should be inspected as a key item at any time;
4. The inspection of electrical systems mainly includes the installation of dedicated electrical boxes and short-circuit and leakage protection devices, emergency power off switches, shock absorption devices for electrical boxes, fixation of cables on working devices, lighting circuits, and grounding wires strictly prohibited from being used as current carrying neutral wires;
2、 Items that drilling rigs should be inspected at any time
1. Inspect the consolidation condition of the wire rope end;
The content of wire rope inspection includes: the number of safety circles of the wire rope, the selection, installation, lubrication of the wire rope, inspection of defects in the wire rope, such as the diameter and wear of the wire rope, and the number of broken wires in the wire rope;
2. Inspect the pulley system of the drilling rig at any time, mainly focusing on the condition of the pulley body and the anti jump rope device of the transition pulley;
3. Inspect the walking system of the drilling rig at any time, with the main inspection items including: the condition of the pile driving machine's pipe, clamp plate and hook pipe system, and the laying of sleepers;
3、 Keep a good record of drilling rig maintenance and upkeep, and provide detailed records of replacement parts to ensure that they are used within their validity period or to keep track of the next replacement time at any time;
4、 If any faults are found in the drilling rig, the operation should be stopped immediately and it should not be used until the faults are eliminated.

Replacement of accessories
Replacement of throttle valve for drilling rig accessories:
1. Replace the valve plate and valve seat: Remove the pressure from the valve chamber, remove the valve cover bolts, and take out the valve plate and the upper part of the valve cover together. Remove the slotted round nut, switch pin, hexagonal screw, and front and rear stop cap to replace the cylindrical valve plate and replace the valve seat. When cleaning the valve chamber, special attention should be paid to the sealing surface. When replacing a new valve plate or valve seat, the gap between the valve plate and the valve cover protrusion should be filled with sealing grease, and calcium based lubricating oil should be added inside the upper cover to lubricate the bearings.
2. Replacing lip seal packing: First remove the valve chamber pressure, then disassemble the cover, round nut, handwheel, bearing gland, bearing, packing gland, and then replace the lip seal packing.
3. Replacing bearings: Remove the cover, round nut, handwheel, and bearing cover, and then replace the bearings. If the bearing needs to be replaced, the valve stem nut needs to be removed, and the bearing clearance needs to be adjusted with a bearing cover. After the adjustment is completed, the handwheel should rotate flexibly without jamming.
